He will be laid to rest this afternoon. Fahim had been ailing for some time and had returned to Pakistan late last month to spend some time family and friends. He had been brought to Karachi via an air ambulance on the 26th of October. Prior to his return, the senior leader and veteran politician had been receiving treatment in Germany, England and the UAE and in light of his deteriorating health he wished to return home to Pakistan for a few days, his spokesman Aslam Pirzada told Geo News upon his return last month.
