The suspects included six people from the Lyari gangs and a target killer who belonged to a political party, police said.</div>

In an early morning raid in Khokarapar area a suspect identified as Naveed was arrested.  According to police officials, Naveed with his aides had killed a policeman. He was shifted to an unknown place for interrogation.</div>

In a separate incident, intelligence officials arrested an alleged target killer Rehan alias Top during a raid at Buffer Zone area. The suspect confessed to 15 murders. He was also involved in land-grabbing and China cutting, police said.</div>

During a search operation in Lyari six people were arrested. The suspects were identified as Naresh, Soraj, Shamu and others. Naresh was arrested from a hospital in an injured condition, police said.</div>

The suspects had allegedly carried out a hand grenade attack in the Dasti lane area.</div>

A local court announced 10 years of imprisonment to two members of a political party for carrying illegal weapons. The suspects named Taimur and Shabbir were given imprisonment under the charges of Attempted Murder and Arms Act.</div>
