“There is no law which permits the KMC, DMC, cantonment boards or any other agency in Karachi to install billboards or hoardings on  public property,” a three-member bench headed by Justice Mian Saqib Nisar observed in a matter regarding illegal advertising signboards in the city.</div>

“Such an act on the part of the permission granting agency is against the civil rights of  citizens. The civil rights of citizens cannot be hampered by erecting billboards or hoardings on the civic amenity meant for the use and benefit of the public at large; besides, such an act would endanger the life and property of the common man.”</div>

The bench further observed that no billboard could be permitted to be installed on any public property by any authority under the garb of by-laws, as that would militate against the civil rights of the public at large.</div>

It said billboards/ hoardings installed on public property under any licence or lease “shall be uprooted by June 30, 2016” by the concerned advertising agencies that owned those poles or display materials or by contractors if they owned such material or by the authorities with whose permission the billboards or hoardings had been put up.</div>

The apex court observed that trees on roads and greenbelts were cut off for the installation of hoardings. It noted that public property included roads, sidewalks, overhead bridges, underpasses, overhead pedestrian bridges, walkways, greenbelts, pedestrian lanes and storm water drains, which could not be allowed to be used for the installation of billboards.</div>

کراچی، جامعہ کراچی کے ناظم امتحانات پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ارشد اعظمی نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ بی ڈی ایس فرسٹ / سیکنڈ اور فائنل پروفیشنل سالانہ امتحانات برائے 2014 ءکے نتائج کا اعلان کردیا گیا ہے. نتائج کے مطابق بی ڈی ایس فرسٹ پروفیشنل کے امتحان میں 476 طلبہ شریک ہوئے، 271 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 205 طلبہ ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 56،93٪ فیصد رہا. بی ڈی ایس سیکنڈ پروفیشنل کے امتحان میں 473 طلبہ شریک ہوئے، 269 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 204 ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 56،87٪ فیصد رہا. بی ڈی ایس فائنل پروفیشنل کے امتحان میں 305 طلبہ شریک ہوئے جس میں سے 257 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 48 ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 84،26 ٪ فیصد رہا.

کراچی، ٹریڈڈیولپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے چیف ایگزیکٹو ایس ایم منیر نے کہا ہے کہ ملکی برآمدات میں اضافے اور بیرونی سرمایہ کاروں کے اعتماد میں مزید اضافے کے لیے ملک سے سیاسی بے چینی کاخاتمہ بے حدضروری ہے،جمہوریت کی راہ ہموارہوچکی ہے ملک وقوم کی بقا اور ترقی کے لیے تمام سیاسی جماعتیں معاشی ایجنڈے کے تحت موجودہ حکومت کے ہاتھ مضبوط کرتے ہوئے پاکستان کوایشین ٹائیگر بنانے کے لیے اپنا اپنا کرداراداکریں یہ بات انہوں نے گزشتہ روز دئیے گئے افطارڈنر کے موقع پرکہی اس موقع پر کراچی انڈسٹریل الائنس کے صدر میاں زاہد حسین ،کاٹی کے صدرسید فرخ مظہر نے بھی اظہارخیال کیاجبکہ اس موقع پر سینیٹرعبدالحسیب خان،خالدتواب،یحییٰ پولانی،زبیر طفیل ،راشد احمد صدیقی ،گلزارفیروز ،مہتاب الدین چاولہ اور دیگر بھی موجودتھے۔ایس ایم منیرنے کہا کہ بیرونی ممالک میں مقیم پاکستانیوں کی جانب سے 15 ملین ڈالر سے زائد کی ترسیلات زر وطن بھیجنا اور ملکی زرمبادلہ کے ذخائر64کروڑ76لاکھ ڈالر اضافے سے13ارب99کروڑ1لاکھ ڈالر کی سطح سے بڑھتے ہوئے14ارب63کروڑ77لاکھ ڈالر کی سطح پر پہنچنا خوش آئند عمل ہے جس میں مزید اضافے کوممکن بنایا جاسکتا ہے

نتظامیہ اور بیوپاریوں میں ہاتھی پائی، 250 بیوپاریوں کے خلاف مقدمہ درج

کراچی، سپر ہائی وے پر قائم ایشیاء کی سب سے بڑی مویشی منڈی میں انتظامیہ اور بیورپاریوں میں ہاتھی پائی کے نتیجے میں 250 پیوپاریوں کے خلاف سہراب گوٹھ تھانے میں مقدمہ درج کیا گیا ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق مویشی منڈی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے ناقص انتظامات پر بیوپاریوں اور انتظامیہ میں ہاتھی پائی ہوگئی۔

مقامی اخبار کے صحافی کو قتل کی دھمکیاں، صحافی برادری کا تحفظ فراہم کرنے کا مطالبہ

کراچی، مقامی اخبار کے رپورٹر اور کراچی یونین آف جرنلٹس (دستور ) اور پاکستان ہیلپ لائن ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن کے آفس سیکریٹری نوراسلام کو سگے بھانجے نے قتل کی دھمکی۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق کراچی کے انتہائی حساس علاقے منگھوپیر میں رہائش پذیر نور اسلام کٹھن اور مشکل حالات میں صحافتی خدمات سرانجام دے رہے ہیں کو سگے بھانجے جہانزیب ولد سلطان نے جان سے مارنے کی دھمکی ہے۔ نور اسلام کے مطابق جہانزیب کو جرائم پیشہ افراد سے دور رہنے اور کام کاج کرنے پر توجہ کرنے کو کہتا رہتاہوںجسکی وجہ سے جہانزیب مجھ سے ناراض رہنے لگا ہے چند سال قبل رینجرز کی بھاری نفری نے گھر پر چھاپہ مار کر گرفتار کرنے کے بعد جیل بھیج دیا تھا ضمانت پر رہا ہو کر آیاتو جہانزیب کو کافی سمجھایا لیکن جہانزیب نے ایک نہیں سنی اور لگ بھگ دو مہینے بعد خواجہ اجمیر نگری پولیس نے ایک بار پھر گرفتار کرلیا۔ منگھوپیر پولیس اسٹیشن میں اس دھمکی کے بارے میں اطلاع دیدی گئی ہے۔ دریں اثنا نور اسلام کو ملنے والی دھمکیوں پر صحافی برادری نے سخت تشویش کااظہار کرتے ہوئے حکومت سندھ سے صحافی کو تحفظ فراہم کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے اس کے علاوہ سیاسی و سماجی تنظیموں نے بھی صحافی کو دھمکی دینے کی سخت مذمت کر تے ہوئے ملزم کی گرفتا ری کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔

وزیراعظم نواز شریف نے پاکستان عوامی تحریک کے سربراہ ڈاکٹرطاہرالقادری سے سانحہ ماڈل ٹاؤن پر معذرت کرلی ہے ۔تفصیلات کے مطابق وفاقی وزیرریلوے خواجہ سعد رفیق میڈیا سے بچ کر طاہرالقادری کے کنٹینر تک پہنچنے میں کامیاب ہوگئے جہاں اُنہوں نے پاکستان عوامی تحریک کے صدر رحیق عباسی کی موجودگی میں ڈاکٹرطاہرالقادری کو پارٹی قیادت کا خصوصی پیغام پہنچایا۔ذرائع نے بتایاکہ سیکیورٹی پروٹوکول کے بغیر پیدل سفر کرنے کی وجہ سے خواجہ سعدرفیق میڈیا سے بچ نکلنے میں کامیاب ہوگئے اوراُنہوں نے وزیراعظم نوازشریف کی طرف سے سانحہ ماڈل ٹاؤن پر معذرت اوراظہارتعزیت کا پیغام پہنچایا

علامہ علی اکبرکمیلی کا قتل، تحقیقاتی ٹیم تشکیل

کراچی، علامہ علی اکبر کمیلی کے قتل کی تحقیقات کیلئے خصوصی ٹیم قائم کردی گئی۔ جو چوبیس گھنٹے میں رپورٹ پیش کرے گی۔ ذرائع کے مطابق ایڈیشنل آئی جی کراچی غلام قادر تھیبو نے علی اکبر کمیلی کے قتل کی تحقیقات کیلئے ڈی آئی جی ویسٹ کی سربراہی میں تحقیقاتی کمیٹی قائم کردی۔ ایس ایس پی، ایس پی ایس آئی یو اور سی آئی ڈی کے افسران شامل ہوں گے۔ کمیٹی چوبیس گھنٹے میں رپورٹ حکام کو پیش کرے گی۔ ایس ایچ او عزیزآباد حسیب قریشی کومعطل کرکے تنزلی بھی کردی گئی

گورنر اوروزیراعلیٰ سندھ کی کابینہ کے ہمراہ مزار قائد پر حاضری

گارڈز کے فرائض سنبھال لئے۔گورنر سندھ اور وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ نے کابینہ کے ساتھ حاضری دی اور پھول چڑھائے۔ گورنر سندھ ڈاکٹر عشرت العباد ، وزیراعلیٰ سید قائم علی شاہ نے صوبائی کابینہ کے ارکان کے ہمراہ مزار قائد پرپرچم کشائی کی۔ اس موقع سرکاری اسکولوں کے بچوں نے قومی ترانہ پڑھا۔ بعد میں گورنر وزیراعلیٰ سندھ نے مزار پر حاضری دی، فاتحہ خوانی کی اور پھول چڑھائے۔ میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے گورنر سندھ ڈاکٹر عشرت العباد نے کہا کہ قائد اعظم کی سوچ ، ان کے افکار اور تعلیمات کے مطابق ہی ملک چلانے میں ہماری بقا ہے۔ جمہوریت کو اگر خطرہ ہوا تو یہ ہماری بدقسمتی ہوگی ،وزیر اعظم نے دانش مندی سے مسائل حل کرنے کی کوشش کی ہے۔وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ کا کہنا تھا کہ قائد اعظم کے سیاسی تصور کی وجہ سے عظیم مملکت وجود میں آئی بحیثیت قوم ہمیں آزادی کی قدر کرنی چاہئے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ احتجاج کا حق سب کو حاصل ہے مگر ائین کے دائرے میں رہے۔ تمام مسائل کا حل مذاکرات میں ہے۔ تقریب میں سابق سٹی ناظم نعمت اللہ خان ، ایم کیو ایم کے رہنما سید سردار احمد ، علامہ عباس کمیلی اور مولاناتنویر الحق سمیت غیر ملکی سفارتکار اور عمائدین شہر نے بھی شرکت کی۔
