It said billboards/ hoardings installed on public property under any licence or lease “shall be uprooted by June 30, 2016” by the concerned advertising agencies that owned those poles or display materials or by contractors if they owned such material or by the authorities with whose permission the billboards or hoardings had been put up.</div>

The apex court observed that trees on roads and greenbelts were cut off for the installation of hoardings. It noted that public property included roads, sidewalks, overhead bridges, underpasses, overhead pedestrian bridges, walkways, greenbelts, pedestrian lanes and storm water drains, which could not be allowed to be used for the installation of billboards.</div>

کراچی، وزیراعظم نواز شریف کی زیر صدارت گورنر ہاو ¿س کراچی میں شہر کی امن و امان کی صورتحال سے متعلق اجلاس جاری ہے جس میں گورنر عشرت العباد، وزیراعلی سندھ سید قائم علی شاہ، وفاقی وزیر داخلہ چوہدری نثار، وزیر ریلوے خواجہ سعد رفیق ، کور کمانڈر کراچی، ڈی جی رینجرز، آئی جی سندھ سمیت دیگر سیکیورٹی فورسز کے افسران شریک ہیں. اجلاس کے دوران وزیراعظم کو ٹارگٹڈ آپریشن اور گرفتاریوں کے حوالے سے تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی. اس موقع پر وزیراعظم نے سیکیورٹی حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ ہر حال میں شہر میں امن و امان نافذ کیا جائے.

کراچی ، انسداد دہشت گردی کی عدالت نے سلیمان لاشاری قتل کیس سیشن کورٹ منتقل کرنے کی درخواست پر فیصلہ محفوظ کرلیا ہے۔ کراچی کے علاقے ڈیفنس میں درخشاں تھانے کی حدود میں سلیمان لاشاری کے قتل کے الزام میں ملزم سلمان ابڑو اور چار پولیس اہلکار جیل میں ہیں۔ ملزمان کی جانب سے مقدمہ انسداد دہشت گردی کی عدالت سے سیشن کورٹ منتقل کرنے کی درخواست دائر کی گئی تھی۔ دوران سماعت ملزم سلمان ابڑوکے وکیل اور سرکاری وکیل عبدالمعروف ایڈوکیٹ نے دلائل دیئے جس پر عدالت نے فیصلہ سات اگست تک محفوظ کرلیا۔

کراچی، جامعہ کراچی کے ناظم امتحانات پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ارشد اعظمی نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ بی ڈی ایس فرسٹ / سیکنڈ اور فائنل پروفیشنل سالانہ امتحانات برائے 2014 ءکے نتائج کا اعلان کردیا گیا ہے. نتائج کے مطابق بی ڈی ایس فرسٹ پروفیشنل کے امتحان میں 476 طلبہ شریک ہوئے، 271 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 205 طلبہ ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 56،93٪ فیصد رہا. بی ڈی ایس سیکنڈ پروفیشنل کے امتحان میں 473 طلبہ شریک ہوئے، 269 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 204 ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 56،87٪ فیصد رہا. بی ڈی ایس فائنل پروفیشنل کے امتحان میں 305 طلبہ شریک ہوئے جس میں سے 257 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 48 ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 84،26 ٪ فیصد رہا.

ایم بی بی ایس فرسٹ پروفیشنل پارٹ اے سالانہ امتحانات برائے 2014 ءکے نتائج کا اعلان

کراچی، جامعہ کراچی کے ناظم امتحانات نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ ایم بی بی ایس فرسٹ پروفیشنل پارٹ اے سالانہ امتحانات برائے 2014 ءکے نتائج کا اعلان کردیا گیا ہے. نتائج کے مطابق امتحان میں 788 طلبہ شریک ہوئے جس میں سے 600 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 188 طلبہ ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 76،14٪ فیصد رہا.

فوج تعینات کی جائے، شہر کے تاجروں کا مطالبہ

کراچی، جمعرات کو وزیراعظم نواز شریف کے ساتھ ایک بات چیت کے دوران تاجروں اور صنعتکاروں نے کراچی آپریشن پر اپنے عدم اطمینان کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے مطالبہ کیا کہ ملک کے اس سب سے بڑے شہر میں پائیدار امن کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے فوج کو طلب کیا جائے۔ تاہم سیاسی قیادت کی جانب سے اس تجویز کو مسترد کردیا گیا۔

کراچی، مقامی اخبار کے رپورٹر اور کراچی یونین آف جرنلٹس (دستور ) اور پاکستان ہیلپ لائن ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن کے آفس سیکریٹری نوراسلام کو سگے بھانجے نے قتل کی دھمکی۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق کراچی کے انتہائی حساس علاقے منگھوپیر میں رہائش پذیر نور اسلام کٹھن اور مشکل حالات میں صحافتی خدمات سرانجام دے رہے ہیں کو سگے بھانجے جہانزیب ولد سلطان نے جان سے مارنے کی دھمکی ہے۔ نور اسلام کے مطابق جہانزیب کو جرائم پیشہ افراد سے دور رہنے اور کام کاج کرنے پر توجہ کرنے کو کہتا رہتاہوںجسکی وجہ سے جہانزیب مجھ سے ناراض رہنے لگا ہے چند سال قبل رینجرز کی بھاری نفری نے گھر پر چھاپہ مار کر گرفتار کرنے کے بعد جیل بھیج دیا تھا ضمانت پر رہا ہو کر آیاتو جہانزیب کو کافی سمجھایا لیکن جہانزیب نے ایک نہیں سنی اور لگ بھگ دو مہینے بعد خواجہ اجمیر نگری پولیس نے ایک بار پھر گرفتار کرلیا۔ منگھوپیر پولیس اسٹیشن میں اس دھمکی کے بارے میں اطلاع دیدی گئی ہے۔ دریں اثنا نور اسلام کو ملنے والی دھمکیوں پر صحافی برادری نے سخت تشویش کااظہار کرتے ہوئے حکومت سندھ سے صحافی کو تحفظ فراہم کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے اس کے علاوہ سیاسی و سماجی تنظیموں نے بھی صحافی کو دھمکی دینے کی سخت مذمت کر تے ہوئے ملزم کی گرفتا ری کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔

گورنر اوروزیراعلیٰ سندھ کی کابینہ کے ہمراہ مزار قائد پر حاضری
