Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued directives for voters 
in the third phase of Local Bodies (LB) elections in Sindh and Punjab, 
scheduled on December 05.</b><br />
<br />
According to the ECP 
directives, original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is must 
for casting vote. Driving licence, office card and copy of the CNIC 
would not be acceptable, however, voter with expired CNIC would be 
allowed to cast his/her vote.<br />
<br />
Carrying mobile phone in the polling station is strictly prohibited, the electoral body said.<br />
<br />
Voters will be issued three and two ballot papers in Sindh and Punjab respectively.<br />
<br />
The polling will begin at 7:30 am and will continue till 5:30 pm without any break.<br />
<br />
Twelve
 districts of Punjab include: Layyah, Rajanpur, D.G. Khan, Muzaffargarh,
 Rawalpindi, Jhang, Khushab, Multan, Sialkot, Narowal, Rahim Yar Khan 
and Bahawalpur.<br />
<br />
In Sindh, the local polls will be held in Karachi West, Karachi East, Karachi South, Karachi Central, Korangi and Malir.</span>

Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has 
termed National Security Council (NSC) a failed experiment during former
 military ruler Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s tenure, stressing the need
 for no more experimentation.</b><br />

Speaking at a book 
launch ceremony here, he said the country cannot afford any more 
experiments. The Senate chairman however stressed the need for all state
 institutions to mull over security threats the country was currently 
facing.<br />
<br />
The PPP stalwart said a new establishment would 
emerge as a result of public struggle but added that this establishment 
would be comprised of middle-class and intellectuals.<br />
<br />
“Parliament’s supremacy would prevail in the new system.” <br />
<br />
The
 idea and inception of the National Security Council – a principal forum
 that is mandated for considering national security and foreign policy 
matters with the senior national security advisers and cabinet ministers
 – was first conceived in 1969 under President Yahya Khan.<br />
<br />
The
 idea of this institution remains highly debatable and controversial in 
the country’s political circles, who argue that the NSC provides legal 
cover for expanding the role and influence of the military in nation’s 
public and political affairs to subdue the popular democratic 
transitional process in the country.<br />
<br />
The council was 
recreated by Musharraf in April 2004 under the National Security Council
 Act. Although, the NSC remains to stay as statue on the constitution, 
the council is not active since 2008, but the Defence Committee of the 
Cabinet (DCC) is reactivated in its place. <br />
<br />
The NSC was 
abandoned by the PPP government, with a unified confirmations from the 
Parliament, and its functions has been taken under control by the 
Defence Cabinet Committee as of 2009.<br />
<br />
The council was 
revived under Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who presides over meetings of
 the council when there is an emergency, such as hostilities between 
India and Pakistan, or a chance to discuss events related to terrorism 
and extremism.</span>

کراچی، وزیراعظم نواز شریف کی زیر صدارت گورنر ہاو ¿س کراچی میں شہر کی امن و امان کی صورتحال سے متعلق اجلاس جاری ہے جس میں گورنر عشرت العباد، وزیراعلی سندھ سید قائم علی شاہ، وفاقی وزیر داخلہ چوہدری نثار، وزیر ریلوے خواجہ سعد رفیق ، کور کمانڈر کراچی، ڈی جی رینجرز، آئی جی سندھ سمیت دیگر سیکیورٹی فورسز کے افسران شریک ہیں. اجلاس کے دوران وزیراعظم کو ٹارگٹڈ آپریشن اور گرفتاریوں کے حوالے سے تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی. اس موقع پر وزیراعظم نے سیکیورٹی حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ ہر حال میں شہر میں امن و امان نافذ کیا جائے.

کراچی ، انسداد دہشت گردی کی عدالت نے سلیمان لاشاری قتل کیس سیشن کورٹ منتقل کرنے کی درخواست پر فیصلہ محفوظ کرلیا ہے۔ کراچی کے علاقے ڈیفنس میں درخشاں تھانے کی حدود میں سلیمان لاشاری کے قتل کے الزام میں ملزم سلمان ابڑو اور چار پولیس اہلکار جیل میں ہیں۔ ملزمان کی جانب سے مقدمہ انسداد دہشت گردی کی عدالت سے سیشن کورٹ منتقل کرنے کی درخواست دائر کی گئی تھی۔ دوران سماعت ملزم سلمان ابڑوکے وکیل اور سرکاری وکیل عبدالمعروف ایڈوکیٹ نے دلائل دیئے جس پر عدالت نے فیصلہ سات اگست تک محفوظ کرلیا۔

بی ڈی ایس فرسٹ / سیکنڈ اور فائنل پروفیشنل سالانہ امتحانات برائے 2014 ءکے نتائج کا اعلان

کراچی، جامعہ کراچی کے ناظم امتحانات پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ارشد اعظمی نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ بی ڈی ایس فرسٹ / سیکنڈ اور فائنل پروفیشنل سالانہ امتحانات برائے 2014 ءکے نتائج کا اعلان کردیا گیا ہے. نتائج کے مطابق بی ڈی ایس فرسٹ پروفیشنل کے امتحان میں 476 طلبہ شریک ہوئے، 271 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 205 طلبہ ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 56،93٪ فیصد رہا. بی ڈی ایس سیکنڈ پروفیشنل کے امتحان میں 473 طلبہ شریک ہوئے، 269 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 204 ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 56،87٪ فیصد رہا. بی ڈی ایس فائنل پروفیشنل کے امتحان میں 305 طلبہ شریک ہوئے جس میں سے 257 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 48 ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 84،26 ٪ فیصد رہا.

ایم بی بی ایس فرسٹ پروفیشنل پارٹ اے سالانہ امتحانات برائے 2014 ءکے نتائج کا اعلان

کراچی، جامعہ کراچی کے ناظم امتحانات نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ ایم بی بی ایس فرسٹ پروفیشنل پارٹ اے سالانہ امتحانات برائے 2014 ءکے نتائج کا اعلان کردیا گیا ہے. نتائج کے مطابق امتحان میں 788 طلبہ شریک ہوئے جس میں سے 600 طلبہ کامیاب قرارپائے، جبکہ 188 طلبہ ناکام قراردیئے گئے. کامیاب طلبہ کا تناسب 76،14٪ فیصد رہا.

فوج تعینات کی جائے، شہر کے تاجروں کا مطالبہ

کراچی، جمعرات کو وزیراعظم نواز شریف کے ساتھ ایک بات چیت کے دوران تاجروں اور صنعتکاروں نے کراچی آپریشن پر اپنے عدم اطمینان کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے مطالبہ کیا کہ ملک کے اس سب سے بڑے شہر میں پائیدار امن کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے فوج کو طلب کیا جائے۔ تاہم سیاسی قیادت کی جانب سے اس تجویز کو مسترد کردیا گیا۔

کراچی، ٹریڈڈیولپمنٹ اتھارٹی کے چیف ایگزیکٹو ایس ایم منیر نے کہا ہے کہ ملکی برآمدات میں اضافے اور بیرونی سرمایہ کاروں کے اعتماد میں مزید اضافے کے لیے ملک سے سیاسی بے چینی کاخاتمہ بے حدضروری ہے،جمہوریت کی راہ ہموارہوچکی ہے ملک وقوم کی بقا اور ترقی کے لیے تمام سیاسی جماعتیں معاشی ایجنڈے کے تحت موجودہ حکومت کے ہاتھ مضبوط کرتے ہوئے پاکستان کوایشین ٹائیگر بنانے کے لیے اپنا اپنا کرداراداکریں یہ بات انہوں نے گزشتہ روز دئیے گئے افطارڈنر کے موقع پرکہی اس موقع پر کراچی انڈسٹریل الائنس کے صدر میاں زاہد حسین ،کاٹی کے صدرسید فرخ مظہر نے بھی اظہارخیال کیاجبکہ اس موقع پر سینیٹرعبدالحسیب خان،خالدتواب،یحییٰ پولانی،زبیر طفیل ،راشد احمد صدیقی ،گلزارفیروز ،مہتاب الدین چاولہ اور دیگر بھی موجودتھے۔ایس ایم منیرنے کہا کہ بیرونی ممالک میں مقیم پاکستانیوں کی جانب سے 15 ملین ڈالر سے زائد کی ترسیلات زر وطن بھیجنا اور ملکی زرمبادلہ کے ذخائر64کروڑ76لاکھ ڈالر اضافے سے13ارب99کروڑ1لاکھ ڈالر کی سطح سے بڑھتے ہوئے14ارب63کروڑ77لاکھ ڈالر کی سطح پر پہنچنا خوش آئند عمل ہے جس میں مزید اضافے کوممکن بنایا جاسکتا ہے

نتظامیہ اور بیوپاریوں میں ہاتھی پائی، 250 بیوپاریوں کے خلاف مقدمہ درج

کراچی، سپر ہائی وے پر قائم ایشیاء کی سب سے بڑی مویشی منڈی میں انتظامیہ اور بیورپاریوں میں ہاتھی پائی کے نتیجے میں 250 پیوپاریوں کے خلاف سہراب گوٹھ تھانے میں مقدمہ درج کیا گیا ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق مویشی منڈی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے ناقص انتظامات پر بیوپاریوں اور انتظامیہ میں ہاتھی پائی ہوگئی۔

کراچی، مقامی اخبار کے رپورٹر اور کراچی یونین آف جرنلٹس (دستور ) اور پاکستان ہیلپ لائن ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن کے آفس سیکریٹری نوراسلام کو سگے بھانجے نے قتل کی دھمکی۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق کراچی کے انتہائی حساس علاقے منگھوپیر میں رہائش پذیر نور اسلام کٹھن اور مشکل حالات میں صحافتی خدمات سرانجام دے رہے ہیں کو سگے بھانجے جہانزیب ولد سلطان نے جان سے مارنے کی دھمکی ہے۔ نور اسلام کے مطابق جہانزیب کو جرائم پیشہ افراد سے دور رہنے اور کام کاج کرنے پر توجہ کرنے کو کہتا رہتاہوںجسکی وجہ سے جہانزیب مجھ سے ناراض رہنے لگا ہے چند سال قبل رینجرز کی بھاری نفری نے گھر پر چھاپہ مار کر گرفتار کرنے کے بعد جیل بھیج دیا تھا ضمانت پر رہا ہو کر آیاتو جہانزیب کو کافی سمجھایا لیکن جہانزیب نے ایک نہیں سنی اور لگ بھگ دو مہینے بعد خواجہ اجمیر نگری پولیس نے ایک بار پھر گرفتار کرلیا۔ منگھوپیر پولیس اسٹیشن میں اس دھمکی کے بارے میں اطلاع دیدی گئی ہے۔ دریں اثنا نور اسلام کو ملنے والی دھمکیوں پر صحافی برادری نے سخت تشویش کااظہار کرتے ہوئے حکومت سندھ سے صحافی کو تحفظ فراہم کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے اس کے علاوہ سیاسی و سماجی تنظیموں نے بھی صحافی کو دھمکی دینے کی سخت مذمت کر تے ہوئے ملزم کی گرفتا ری کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔

کراچی، علامہ علی اکبر کمیلی کے قتل کی تحقیقات کیلئے خصوصی ٹیم قائم کردی گئی۔ جو چوبیس گھنٹے میں رپورٹ پیش کرے گی۔ ذرائع کے مطابق ایڈیشنل آئی جی کراچی غلام قادر تھیبو نے علی اکبر کمیلی کے قتل کی تحقیقات کیلئے ڈی آئی جی ویسٹ کی سربراہی میں تحقیقاتی کمیٹی قائم کردی۔ ایس ایس پی، ایس پی ایس آئی یو اور سی آئی ڈی کے افسران شامل ہوں گے۔ کمیٹی چوبیس گھنٹے میں رپورٹ حکام کو پیش کرے گی۔ ایس ایچ او عزیزآباد حسیب قریشی کومعطل کرکے تنزلی بھی کردی گئی

گورنر اوروزیراعلیٰ سندھ کی کابینہ کے ہمراہ مزار قائد پر حاضری

گارڈز کے فرائض سنبھال لئے۔گورنر سندھ اور وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ نے کابینہ کے ساتھ حاضری دی اور پھول چڑھائے۔ گورنر سندھ ڈاکٹر عشرت العباد ، وزیراعلیٰ سید قائم علی شاہ نے صوبائی کابینہ کے ارکان کے ہمراہ مزار قائد پرپرچم کشائی کی۔ اس موقع سرکاری اسکولوں کے بچوں نے قومی ترانہ پڑھا۔ بعد میں گورنر وزیراعلیٰ سندھ نے مزار پر حاضری دی، فاتحہ خوانی کی اور پھول چڑھائے۔ میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے گورنر سندھ ڈاکٹر عشرت العباد نے کہا کہ قائد اعظم کی سوچ ، ان کے افکار اور تعلیمات کے مطابق ہی ملک چلانے میں ہماری بقا ہے۔ جمہوریت کو اگر خطرہ ہوا تو یہ ہماری بدقسمتی ہوگی ،وزیر اعظم نے دانش مندی سے مسائل حل کرنے کی کوشش کی ہے۔وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ کا کہنا تھا کہ قائد اعظم کے سیاسی تصور کی وجہ سے عظیم مملکت وجود میں آئی بحیثیت قوم ہمیں آزادی کی قدر کرنی چاہئے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ احتجاج کا حق سب کو حاصل ہے مگر ائین کے دائرے میں رہے۔ تمام مسائل کا حل مذاکرات میں ہے۔ تقریب میں سابق سٹی ناظم نعمت اللہ خان ، ایم کیو ایم کے رہنما سید سردار احمد ، علامہ عباس کمیلی اور مولاناتنویر الحق سمیت غیر ملکی سفارتکار اور عمائدین شہر نے بھی شرکت کی۔
