KOHAT: Law enforcement agencies and police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrested nearly three dozen suspects on Friday including a Taliban commander and facilitators.
According to sources, police and agencies launched a joint operation near the Kohat bypass road and the surrounding areas and detained six terrorist facilitators among 33 suspects including Afghan nationals.
Kohat police and intelligence agencies also arrested Dilawar Khan aka Mufti, a commander of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The government of Pakistan had announced a reward (head money) of Rs 1 million for Dilawar Khan.
According to DPO Kohat, Dilawar was wanted for his involvement in multiple bomb attacks and terror activites.
