RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif has rebuffed speculations about extension in his service, saying that he will retire on due date.
In a message on twitters, Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt-Gen. Asim Bajwa said, speculations about extension in the service of the Army Chief were baseless.
He quoted General Raheel as saying, "Pakistan Army is a great institution. I don’t believe in extension and will retire on due date.”
