LAHORE: The Punjab government on late Monday night announced that all public and private schools across the province would remain closed until January 31 (Sunday), as a fresh cold wave gripped parts of the region.
The decision was announced by the spokesman for the provincial government.
But the delay in the announcement caused inconvenience for many schoolchildren and their parents, who got to know about the announcement only after they brought their little ones to schools on Tuesday morning.
